What's the name of this game anyway? - "I win!"

*** POST EDIT: I have noticed a large amount of people get to my blog by searching the title of this post. If you happen to be one of those people who googled "What's the name of this game anyway - I win!" This is a quote from the movie Big Daddy and something that I like to say often. :) ***

For Heather's Birthday Party this year in January, my family had a very fun day at Mulligan's Family Fun Center [I guess they lived up to their name...]

For this day-o-fun, we siblings received wrist bands that gave us access to all the really fun stuff for the entire day like Go-Karts, mini-golf, a rock wall, etc. It was amazing. We had a great time!

A little more background though - Nathan and I tend to keep our little wristbands on from random events like concerts, parties, dances, or roller skating :) We keep them on for as long as we can. My dad makes fun of us, until he did the same thing himself to spite us.

Ok, back to the real story: When we got our day-pass-wrist-bands, Nathan and I immediately noticed the high quality of the band and that it was a very sturdy one. We decided that we should try to keep them on as long as possible, and since the band had the date on it [January 1, 2010] we thought it would be awesome to try to keep it on for the whole year! For some reason, Nathan and I were the only ones that thought this was a good idea... lame-o's! :)

So Nathan and I have have both kept our wristbands on since then... until now! Nathan informed me the other day that his has gone missing somehow. He's not exactly sure how or where, but his is gone. And that makes me
THE STRONGEST MORRIS ALIVE! :D hahaha

occular apparel

I was one of those strange children that really wanted glasses and braces. Now I finally have some glasses. Granted they are just a pair of 3D glasses from the theater with the lenses popped out, but hey- I'm having fun and that is what matters right?
:)

ps - I'm listening to OK Go's new CD "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky" in this picture, I LOVE it :)

Mawwiage

... is what brings us here together today :) [haha, gotta love the Princess Bride!]

My RA from my freshman year living in the Dorms of Heritage Halls was married this weekend in the Draper, UT temple! Karina and I attended her reception on Saturday up in Sandy and it was so great to see her so happy with her new husband Bryan. She looked beautiful and it was fun to see her on her happy day!

mi familia

I have had the chance to spend some time with a lot of my extended family lately and it has been awesome! My cousin Jeremy came up to Utah a few weekends ago and we had some more fun with the Evans family in American Fork! I love spending time with my cousins and just enjoying a break from school and work to be with my family :) We played Apples to Apples again and then some intense rounds of Twister before heading back to Provo. Good times!

Then this past week the Mordues picked me up to take me to Park City to meet up with the Murdocks and go out to dinner together. Tons of aunts and uncles and cousins! I had a blast playing in the car with Gracie and then a great time surrounded by family at Cafe Rio! [Sadly I didn't take any pictures, but I'm counting on Wade to post some on Gracie's Blog :)] It made me so happy to be with so many of my amazing relatives.

"There is something so fulfilling and comforting about being around those who love us."

Naomi said it perfectly :) I love my family!

quirk

I can't quite explain why, but I LOVE to look at the clock and see that it is 12:34. Whenever I see it I always yell to my roommates or friends or whoever is near me "ONE TWO THREE FOUR!"

oh the simple joys in life :)
